Pete Mellin, Former President, Advisor
I'm a transplanted Yankee, having been born in
Pennsylvania, spending 24 years in the Navy, and retiring to Pensacola,
FL. My first German car was dad’s hand-me-down 1963 VW bug, with
about 29 horsepower. I strayed across the English channel to a 1966
Austin Healey 3000, black with red interior that was my college car. I
came back into the fold with an orange 1969 912 coupe, a maroon 1971
911T for 9 years, followed by a chiffon 1981 911SC. In 1999 I joined
the PCA and found my latest toy, a mint green 1992 911 coupe.
I’ve participated in several local DE’s and two Porsche
Parades, and I plan to do many more of both.
